A group of staff members of the psychological teams of the Demobilisation Commission, the neuropsychiatric clinic Ndera, the military hospital and of different health centres took part in the training. vivo international is implementing the trainings for the RDRC (Rwanda Demobilization and Reintegration Commission) under the umbrella of the World Bank Group.

The trainings involved a combination of lectures, exercises and role-plays in order to impart theoretical and practical knowledge efficiently and sustainably. Practice-oriented role-plays help to practice and automatize new skills, so that they can be recalled fast and easily in specific situations.
